Roles & Responsibilities


Role Overview :


The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving business growth for TGIL’s copper products, including copper rods, busbars, and strips, across UAE, GCC, andglobal markets. The role requires strong exposure to the copper market, LME-linked pricing mechanisms, international trade practices, and proven business development experience in B2B industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in developing new markets, managing key accounts, and expanding TGIL’s footprint in both regional and international copper trade networks.


Core Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development :


Develop and execute sales strategies for TGIL’s copper product portfolio (rods, busbars, strips). Identify and acquire new clients across UAE, GCC, and international markets. Strengthen relationships with existing customers, distributors, and principals. Conduct detailed market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and competitor positioning. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals. Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.


Copper Market Expertise :


Strong understanding of: LME-based pricing mechanisms and premium structures Copper cathode and semi-finished product markets Regional demand trends and global copper trade dynamics Monitor global copper price movements and advise management on pricing strategies.


Trade & Export Operations :


Manage end-to-end trading processes including: Import/export documentation Letters of Credit (LC), SBLC, and trade compliance International shipping and logistics coordination Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and industry standards.


Financial & Commercial Responsibilities


Coordinate with finance for: Budget planning and revenue forecasting Margin optimization and cost control Trade finance and insurance processes Engage with banks for trade facilities, credit lines, and LC negotiations. Prepare commercial documentation and payment terms aligned with international practices.


Market Expansion (UAE, GCC & Global BD)


Establish and grow TGIL’s presence in: UAE domestic market GCC region (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) International export markets Develop channel partners and strategic alliances in overseas territories. Participate in international trade fairs, industry exhibitions, and copper market forums.


Leadership & Representation Represent:


TGIL at global industrial exhibitions, buyer meetings, and business forums. Coordinate with internal teams to align production capabilities with market demand. Assist senior management in developing long-term business strategies for copper division. Lead negotiations with high-value clients and key stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile


Experience Required: Minimum 7–10 Years GCC/UAE experience (Copper / Metal Trading Preferred) Total Experience 12+ years


Proven experience in copper rods, busbars, strips, or cathode trading.


Strong network within UAE & global metal trading markets.


Demonstrated success in international business development.


Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills. Proficiency in ERP/SAP and CRM systems.


Sound knowledge of trade finance, incoterms, and LC procedures.


Education: Degree in Sales / Marketing / Business (MBA Preferred)
