Duties and Responsibilities

Key Performance Areas

1. Adherence to day to day operation of pest control route and ensuring timely arrival at stop
2. Investigate and identify pests and implementing of IPM approach in controlling the pest
3. Choosing correct method to control pest
4. Optimum resource utilization- pesticides and manpower
5. Maintain and ensure tools and equipments in working conditions
6. Complete all required service related paperwork
7. Respond to customer requests in a timely manner
8. Pesticide application at customer place complying with safety procedures
9. Train, direct and assist junior technicians in treatment or extermination process
10. to adapt new technologies introduced from time to time

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS GUIDELINES

Education: (Minimum):

Holds a Bachelor s degree in Entomology, Crop Science, or any other related field, strong communication skills, a stable work history, and a genuine desire to learn pest control techniques.

Experience: (Years and nature of experience)

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant academic projects, internships, or practical training in pest control, entomology, crop science, or related fields will be considered an advantage.

Special Skills & Knowledge:

• Willingness and ability to learn pest control inspection techniques, including understanding schedules, methods, chemicals, materials, and areas to be treated.

• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision, while gradually gaining independence.

• Knowledge of proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for pesticides, as learned during training.

• Ability to remain calm and act responsibly in emergency situations.

• Willingness to communicate feedback from customers to supervisors or office personnel.

• Eagerness to educate customers on sanitation, proofing, and infestation prevention under guidance.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and assist in preparing reports as required.

• Basic understanding of maintenance of spray equipment and willingness to learn minor repairs.

• Readiness to cope with challenging working conditions in a safe and professional manner.

• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

• Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations, and willingness to follow them.

• Commitment to following company policies, regulations, and procedures related to assigned tasks.

• Ability to establish professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and supervisors, and work effectively as part of a team.
