Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Manage and coordinate the full sales cycle including identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the oil & gas sectors for groups of companies (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with EPC clients, contractors, consultants, end‑users, sub‑contractors, and ADNOC‑linked entities.
Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to deliver technically compliant solutions.
Track industry trends, competitor activities, market pricing, and client demand patterns.
Procurement Support
Manage and coordinate the full Procurement cycle including evaluate technical and commercial responses, Request for quotations from suppliers, and coordinate pricing based on project requirements with the project team.
Prepare material requests/orders as required to support project execution timelines.
Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules, documentation, and material compliance.
Support engineering and project teams to ensure accurate, cost‑effective, and timely sourcing.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
10 years of experience, including 6+ years in the UAE Oil & Gas sector.
Proven track record working with EPC clients, end users, and contractors.
Strong experience in technical procurement, BOQ review, RFQ handling, and vendor evaluation.
Excellent communication in English; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
Willingness to travel within/outside UAE based on business needs.
Technical & Commercial Skills
Strong technical understanding of oil & gas materials (PVF, valves, pipes, fittings), rotating/static equipment, E&I materials, and EPC project components.
Ability to interpret engineering documents such as P&IDs, material specifications, isometrics, and BOQs.
Skilled in preparing technical & commercial proposals, tender submissions, and bid clarifications.
Familiarity with ADNOC specifications, API/ASTM standards, and other international codes.
Excellent negotiation and contract‑closure skills with clients and vendors.
Software Proficiency
Strong skills in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint especially).
Experience working with ERP / Procurement / CRM platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar).
