Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Growth and Market Share
- Maintain and increase Scania’s truck market share by achieving set sales targets and implementing effective sales strategies.
Sales Contract Management
- Oversee and sign all offers, sales contracts, and superstructure contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and customer satisfaction.
Tender Management
- Lead and manage the tender process, from submission to finalization, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to regulations.
Budgeting and Financial Targets
- Set and negotiate the annual sales budget, ensuring the department meets its financial targets and contributes to overall profitability.
Market and Competitor Analysis
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, adjusting sales strategies accordingly to stay competitive.
Team Leadership and Development
- Coach and develop the sales team, ensuring continuous improvement in skills and competencies, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Setting KPIs and Monitoring Performance
- Establish KPIs for the sales team and regularly follow up to ensure they are on track to meet sales objectives.
Sales Strategy Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with Scania’s goals, ensuring collaboration across departments for holistic business success.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Foster cooperation with other departments, including finance, marketing, and aftersales, to enhance the overall customer experience and business efficiency.
Issue Resolution and Lessons Learned
- Identify challenges at the deal level, resolve issues, and share lessons learned to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Policy Adherence
- Ensure that all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Team Culture and Values
- Promote a team-based and cooperative atmosphere aligned with Scania’s values, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
Financial Process Monitoring
- Follow up on Letter of Guarantee (LG) and Letter of Credit (LC) processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
