Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage new customers within the container transport market.
  • Conduct client visits, understand logistical needs, and propose tailored transport solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and commercial offers in coordination with the pricing and customer service teams.
  • Follow up on ongoing shipments with internal operational teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing customers to strengthen business relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Track sales activities, maintain customer records, and update CRM systems as required.
  • Monitor market trends, rate movements, and competitor offerings to support pricing decisions.
  • Prepare periodic sales activity reports and share updates with the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1 3 years of experience in logistics, container transport, freight forwarding, or B2B sales.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good understanding of transport and/or port operations is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with CRM or ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service clarity and follow-through.
