Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth in Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) channels by implementing and monitoring sales strategies, ensuring optimal product availability and visibility.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to achieve sales targets and enhance team capabilities.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess competitor activities, gather market intelligence, and identify new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.
- Oversee the execution of promotional activities and merchandising programs in stores, maximizing product visibility and driving sales.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in both MT and GT channels, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address performance gaps.
- Manage the sales budget, controlling expenses and ensuring profitability within assigned territories.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including sales processes, pricing, and promotional guidelines.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure product availability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a focus on MT and GT channels.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, merchandising techniques, and retail operations.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with experience in coaching and developing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A results-oriented and proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for FMCG sales.
- Candidates with fluency in local language are preferred.
