Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and develop the Sales Support team, ensuring high performance and engagement.
- Establish a sustainable development plan and implement a succession strategy for key roles.
- Monitor workload distribution and optimize team efficiency.
2. Technical & Commercial Support
- Oversee the review of all incoming inquiries, ensuring accurate technical specifications and detailed costing (including factory material and local costs).
- Support the Pre-Sales function with early involvement in projects, providing technical studies and traffic analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of proposals and quotations in line with company standards.
3. Order Review & Accuracy
- Conduct thorough reviews of projects prior to order placement, ensuring zero tolerance between estimation and Purchase Order to the factory.
- Enable Operations Project Managers/Engineers to issue Purchase Orders without errors or discrepancies.
4. Client & Sales Interaction
- Attend client meetings alongside Sales Representatives when required to provide technical expertise and support.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, and the factory to resolve technical or commercial queries.
5. Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in sales support, technical sales, or project management within the elevator/escalator industry or similar.
- Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of elevator systems and traffic analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in costing, estimation, and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Key Competencies
- Strategic thinking and planning.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative and cross-functional leadership.
Requirements:
- Experience (10 years or more), elevator experience only,
- Experience in TKE or other elevator company (KONE, OTIS or Schindler).
- Already in manager position.
