Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Sales Support Engineer supports the estimation and sales teams by preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring prompt responses to client inquiries. The role provides technical expertise on oilfield and pressure control equipment, assists with cost estimates, and helps develop solutions that meet client needs and EthosEnergy s standards in Abu Dhabi. This position also helps track market trends and supports sales presentations to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about industry standards, especially API6A, API16A, API16C, API5CT, and API7-1, which are essential for oilfield and pressure control equipment.
- Support the estimation and sales teams by building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring technical and commercial proposals meet EthosEnergy s standards.
- Show initiative in understanding client needs, market trends, and competitor activities to help drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and be open to continuous learning and professional development within the oilfield equipment sector.
- Keep the estimation database and CRM up to date and populate them meticulously.
- Engage with production, QC, CSR, design and SCM teams effectively to collect necessary information to compile comprehensive and competitive bids.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Show a strong willingness to learn about oilfield and pressure control equipment, including industry standards such as API6A, API16A, API16C, API5CT, and API7-1.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to developing good work habits.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and internal teams.
- Be open to feedback and eager to grow professionally within EthosEnergy s supportive environment.
Experience
- Experience in customer service or support roles, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to preparing quotations, proposals, or technical documents, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrable proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for document preparation and team collaboration.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, School of Science, Business, or a related field.
- Full and Clean Driving License either UAE or Convertible to UAE License
Physical Requirements
- Able to travel extensively
