Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Proactively engage with customers to understand needs, recommend products, and close sales while maintaining a high level of product knowledge and professionalism.

  • Deliver a personalized and memorable shopping experience that builds customer loyalty and drives repeat business.

  • Meet and strive to exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators.

Product Knowledge & Merchandising:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, benefits, and usage to confidently advise customers and support cross-selling.

  • Support visual merchandising standards by arranging displays, replenishing stock, and ensuring the sales floor is attractive and well organized.

  • Provide feedback to merchandising and product teams on customer preferences, trends, and inventory needs.

Operations & Inventory:

  • Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handle cash and electronic payments, and follow cash-handling procedures.

  • Support inventory management activities including receiving, stock counts, stock rotation, and loss prevention practices.

  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and operational checklists.

Collaboration & Professionalism:

  • Work closely with store managers and teammates to coordinate floor coverage, special promotions, and events.

  • Communicate customer feedback and competitive insights to guide merchandising and marketing initiatives.

  • Represent the brand with integrity, maintaining grooming and presentation standards and adhering to company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 1+ years of retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or a related customer-facing environment.
  • Experience using point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with product merchandising, stock management, and loss prevention best practices is a plus.
