Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer on a contract basis with strong hands-on expertise in Core ABAP, SAP Workflow, and Web Dynpro development. The role requires onsite deployment and close collaboration with functional teams and business stakeholders. Exposure to SAP FIORI and OData development is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEFW)

  • Develop, configure, and support SAP Workflow elements such as workflows, tasks, business objects, and notifications

  • Perform hands-on development in Core ABAP / OO ABAP

  • Design and develop applications using Web Dynpro for ABAP

  • Analyze functional specifications and prepare technical designs

  • Debug, optimize, and performance-tune existing ABAP applications

  • Conduct unit testing and support integration testing and UAT

  • Work onsite with functional consultants, technical architects, and business users

  • Provide production support and resolve defects and incidents during the contract period

  • Ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and best practices

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development

  • Strong experience in:

    • Core ABAP / Object-Oriented ABAP

    • SAP Workflow

    • Web Dynpro for ABAP

  • Experience with:

    • Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework)

    • SmartForms and/or Adobe Forms

    • BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs

    • Debugging and performance optimization

  • Ability to work independently in onsite project environments

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with SAP FIORI

  • Development of OData services using SAP Gateway

  • Exposure to S/4HANA systems and concepts

  • Experience using ABAP Development Tools (ADT / Eclipse)

Contract & Deployment Requirements

  • Willingness and availability for onsite deployment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project or support environment

  • Contract duration: Up to 1 Year

  • Immediate or short notice availability preferred

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams

  • Clear documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities
