Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP code, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.
- Design and implement UI5 applications, leveraging SAP Fiori guidelines to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that improve user experience.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose effective ABAP/UI5 solutions.
- Perform thorough unit and integration testing of ABAP code and UI5 applications to identify and resolve defects, ensuring code quality and stability.
Desired Candidate Profile
The candidate should have a strong background in SAP ABAP programming, SAP UI5 development, OData services, and Form Bundles, with experience in performing code reviews and knowledge with SAP Multi-Channel Foundation (MCF). Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience Level: 7 Years & above Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori application development and SAP Web IDE. Expertise in developing and maintaining OData services using SAP Gateway. Hands-on experience in configuring and developing Form Bundles in SAP. Familiarity with SAP Multi-Channel Foundation (MCF) for omnichannel application integration. Knowledge of CDS views, AMDP, and RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). Proficiency in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. Knowledge of ALE/IDoc, SAP Workflow, and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms. Tools: SAP HANA Studio, Eclipse, or SAP Business Application Studio. Version control systems like Git or SAP Transport Management System. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Preferred Skills Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations. Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration and UI5 theming. Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps tools SAP certification in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, or OData is a plus
