SAP ABAP Developer Senior Associate asyad

JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this role is to lead and deliver high-quality SAP ABAP technical solutions that support and enhance business processes across the organization. The SAP ABAP Developer Senior Associate is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and integrating complex SAP solutions within S/4HANA and ECC environments, ensuring system stability, performance efficiency, and scalability.

This role plays a critical part in translating business requirements into robust technical designs, driving best practices in development standards, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration across SAP modules and external systems. Additionally, the position provides technical leadership, mentors junior developers, and contributes to successful project delivery across all phases including design, build, testing, and go-live.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver complex ABAP developments including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
• Design and develop solutions in SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and Fiori integrations.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and performance standards.
• Handle complex integrations using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, APIs.
• Support data migration activities using LSMW / Migration Cockpit.
• Work closely with functional consultants in FI, MM, HR, WM modules.
• Conduct performance tuning and debugging of custom programs.
• Provide technical design documentation and architecture recommendations.
• Support SIT, UAT, Cutover, and Go-Live activities.
• Mentor junior ABAP developers and guide development standards
