Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
SAP System Administration
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Success Factor etc.)
Monitor SAP system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
Manage SAP transports, system refreshes, and client administration
Perform system backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures
Infrastructure & Technical Support
Administer SAP servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux/UNIX), and databases (Oracle, SQL, HANA)
Coordinate with network and hardware teams for system stability
Maintain system documentation and technical procedures
Security & Compliance
Manage SAP user accounts, roles, authorizations, and access controls
Ensure compliance with IT policies and audit requirements
Implement security patches and vulnerability controls
Support & Coordination
Provide Level 2/3 support for SAP-related technical issues
Work with SAP functional consultants and vendors on system improvements
Support testing environments and project implementations
Optimization & Upgrades
Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements
Plan and execute SAP upgrades and migrations
Implement automation where applicable
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3–6 years of experience in SAP Basis / SAP System Administration
Strong knowledge of SAP landscapes and system architecture
Experience with SAP HANA database preferred
Familiarity with OS administration (Linux/Windows)
