Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
· Facilitate the implementation and ongoing support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring smooth financial operations and compliance.
· Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements for finance and controlling processes, collaborate with business users to map current and future state processes.
· Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO) based on best practices and specific business needs.
· Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT); document functional designs and test results.
· Identify process and systems gaps, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions or improvements to maximize SAP FICO capabilities.
· Serve as a liaison between finance users and technical teams, supporting both new implementations and upgrades/maintenance activities.
· Ensure effective integration of FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR, etc.).
· Conduct user training, develop training materials, and provide post-go-live production support.
· Participate in data migration, interface design, report development, and documentation activities.
· Keep up-to-date with latest SAP FICO trends, releases, and technologies to drive continuous process improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (FI & CO) module implementation, configuration, and support.
· Strong expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
· Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations, from requirements gathering through go-live and production support.
· Working knowledge of SAP FICO data structures, reporting, and integration points with other modules.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
· SAP FICO certification is an advantage.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
