Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business One (SAP B1) Functional Technician/ Expert with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in implementation, support, and training. The consultant will manage end-to-end SAP B1 projects across Production, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and HR modules, ensuring smooth integration, optimized workflows, and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will also bring expertise in HANA/SQL, Crystal Reports, and aligning techno-commercial processes.


Implementation & System Integration

  • Lead full-cycle SAP B1 implementation: planning, configuration, testing, and deployment

  • Integrate SAP B1 with external systems and third-party applications

  • Coordinate cross-module integration in Finance, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and HR

  • Work with technical teams for customizations, add-ons, and system enhancements

  • Having Odoo experience will be an added advantage

Production & Manufacturing

  • Configure and maintain BOMs, Production Orders, Routing, Shop Floor Control

  • Implement MRP for production planning and forecasting

  • Optimize production workflows, lead times, and resource utilization

  • Support quality control, batch/lot management, and serial number tracking

Finance & Techno-Commercial Support

  • Configure and manage GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets modules

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance (VAT/GST)

  • Bridge operational and financial performance via techno-commercial insight

  • Handle multi-currency and intercompany transactions

Procurement & Warehouse

  • Manage purchase requests, POs, goods receipts, vendor master data, AP invoices

  • Implement Warehouse Management and Inventory Control best practices

  • Monitor vendor performance, lead times, and optimize procurement planning

HR Module & Reporting

  • Support HR processes: employee master data, payroll, and reporting

  • Design and maintain customized reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, and SAP Query

  • Provide training, documentation, and post-go-live support to users

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Finance/Business Administration with proven ERP experience.

  • 6–8 years of experience in SAP Business One implementation, support, training

  • Strong functional knowledge of Production, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse, HR modules

  • Hands-on experience with HANA / SQL and development/customization of reports

  • Proficiency in Crystal Reports, Boyum B1 Usability Package, and integration skills

  • Exposure to other ERP systems (e.g. EPICOR, Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to convert business requirements into SAP B1 solutions

  • Proactive, self-driven, and continuously improvement-oriented

  • Strong documentation, training, and stakeholder engagement abilities
