Roles & Responsibilities
Cost Engineer Automotive CommoditiesAs an SAP iPPE Expert, you will join a project team specializing in advanced product structure management and industrial planning. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP iPPE solutions in an S/4HANA environment, while ensuring integration with manufacturing and advanced configuration processes.
You will be involved in the creation and management of iPPE data, integration with S/4, model configuration, planning (Model Mix Planning, RPM), as well as providing support to business teams.
This position is for an expert with a Bac+5/strong> and 6-8 years of experience/strong> on SAP in the areas of PLM/iPPE, Variant Configuration and Manufacturing.
- Bac +5 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of experience with SAP in the areas of PP, PLM, VC or Manufacturing.
- Practical experience on SAP iPPE, with at least one complete implementation (iPPE structures, routings, BOM, etc.).
- Experience in Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) in S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of industrial environments and standard SAP practices in manufacturing.
- Very good mastery of the SAP iPPE data model and its functionalities (Structures, Routings, Line Design).
- Ability to create and integrate iPPE data from external sources and then transfer it to SAP S/4HANA.
- Good understanding of the functionalities:
- Model Mix Planning
- RPM (Rate-Based Planning)
- In-depth knowledge:
- classic SAP BOMs and Routings
- BOM & Routing Variant Configuration/strong>
- Good understanding of iPPE interactions with PP, MRP, VC and Scheduling.
- Knowledge of advanced planning and ePPDS/strong> type environments (appreciated, especially for the automotive industry).
Desired Candidate Profile
Bac +5 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
