SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Hands-on experience working on all MDG domains: Material, Customer, Vendor/Supplier, Finance (G/L, Cost Center, Profit Center)
• Strong experience with latest SAP Fiori apps for MDG
• Good knowledge of MDG Central Governance and Cloud-Ready mode in Private Cloud environment
• Experience working with SAP Joule (AI Copilot) integration in MDG, especially for Business Partner (search, create, update through conversational AI)
• Strong experience in SAP MDG Material projects
• Expertise in Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Fiori Configuration, MDG API Framework, Feeder Class and Handler Class implementations
• Hands-on experience with Data Replication Framework (DRF), Key Mapping, Value Mapping, SOA Services, ALE/IDoc configuration
• Experience with Data Import Framework (DIF) for mass data loading
• Strong knowledge in MDG data model customization and enhancement
• Experience in MDG UI configuration, Floor Plan Manager (FPM), Web Dynpro UI enhancements, Context-Based Adaptation (CBA)
• Expertise in BRF+ rules framework including validations, derivations, defaults, and decision tables
• Hands-on experience in Workflow development using SAP Business Workflow and BRF+ agent determination
• Strong ABAP technical skills including ABAP OO, BADI implementations, enhancements, exits, and custom development
• Experience working with MDG API framework and integration interfaces
• Experience in Inbound and Outbound IDOC configuration and Change Pointer setup for Customer and Material Master
• Knowledge of Material Mass Processing (Creation and Change)
• Experience integrating MDG with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services for Data Validation and Remediation
• Experience in email notification configuration using BADI implementations
• Strong understanding of Master Data Governance best practices and enterprise data standards

Implementation Experience:

• End-to-end Full Life Cycle Implementation experience including Blueprinting, Fit-Gap Analysis, Configuration, Data Migration, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare Support
• Experience in Change Management, Transport Management and Solution Manager integration
• Experience in Proof of Concept (POC) preparation and business demonstrations
• Hands-on experience supporting System Upgrades, Performance Optimization, and Production Support activities
• Experience in Data Conversion and Migration during project rollout

Tools & System Knowledge:

• SAP Solution Manager Change Management and Transport Tracking
• HPQC Defect Tracking and Testing
• Rational ALM Documentation and Requirement Management
• Experience working in ECC, S/4HANA, MDG Central Governance environments

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Requirement gathering and business process understanding
• Prepare Functional and Technical Specifications
• Design MDG data models, workflows, UI layouts, and replication scenarios
• Coordinate with Onsite and Offshore teams
• Perform End-to-End Testing and UAT Support
• Deploy solutions across DEV, QA, and Production environments
• Support MDG governance framework implementation and rollout
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance standards
• Work across Technical, Verify, and Deploy phases
