Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The SAP P&SM (Procurement & Supply Management) Solution Consultant plays a pivotal role in helping organizations optimize their procurement and supply chain operations using SAP technology. This role involves understanding the company's procurement needs, customizing SAP solutions to fit those requirements, and ensuring smooth implementation and support. The consultant is expected to offer expert advice on SAP processes, assist in enhancing efficiency, and minimize costs by leveraging SAP MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) and other relevant modules. As a key player in facilitating effective procurement management, the SAP P&SM Consultant needs to possess deep knowledge of SAP tools, be adept at project management, and have excellent analytical skills to suggest data-driven improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess client procurement and supply chain processes for SAP enhancements.
- Design and implement SAP solutions tailored to unique client procurement requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP into existing business processes.
- Conduct user training sessions to ensure effective utilization of SAP systems.
- Perform continuous system improvements and updates in the SAP environment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP procurement modules to clients.
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables for SAP deployments.
- Develop documentation for SAP processes including process flows and user manuals.
- Manage data migration activities related to procurement functionalities in SAP.
- Work closely with clients to understand business goals and align SAP solutions accordingly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of latest SAP developments and update clients regularly.
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and industry standards in SAP implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience working with SAP Procurement and Supply Management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules including MM, Ariba, and SRM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform technical troubleshooting.
- Strong project management skills with experience in SAP implementation projects.
- Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in SAP technology.
