Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP PS (Project Systems) Consultant with 510 years of experience to lead implementation, support, and enhancement projects. The consultant will be responsible for configuring SAP PS modules, integrating with related modules, and ensuring alignment of system functionality with business project management needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP PS implementations including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live.
  
• Design and configure project structures (WBS, networks, milestones, activities) to meet project management requirements.
  
• Set up and maintain cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and settlement profiles.
  
• Integrate PS with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, and HR.
  
• Configure and manage project progress analysis, earned value management, and reporting.
  
• Develop custom reports and dashboards for project tracking and cost monitoring.
  
• Work with business users to optimize project workflows and ensure compliance with corporate project accounting standards.
  
• Provide post-implementation support, training, and documentation.
  
• Collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements, user exits, and interfaces.
  
• Participate in global rollouts, upgrades, and S/4HANA migrations if applicable.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 10 years of total SAP experience, with 5+ years in SAP PS configuration and project delivery.
  
• Strong expertise in:
  
• Project Definition, WBS Elements, Networks, and Milestones
  
• Cost Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
  
• Billing (Resource-Related, Milestone, and Fixed-Price)
  
• Settlement Profiles and Result Analysis
  
• Material and Resource Planning within PS
  
• Hands-on experience in PS integration with:
  
• FI/CO (costs, revenues, settlements)br />
• MM/SD (procurement, sales orders)br />
• PP/PM (maintenance and production projects)br />
• Strong understanding of SAP Project Reporting and Analytics tools.
  
• Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PS and SAP Activate methodology is preferred.
  

Good to Have

• Experience in SAP CPM (Commercial Project Management) or SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management).
  
• Basic understanding of SAP PS integration with external tools like Primavera or MS Project.
  
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to PS.
  
• ABAP debugging skills for issue analysis.
  
• Relevant SAP certification (SAP Certified Application Associate Project System).
  

Education

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
  
• SAP Certification in PS module preferred.
