Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all nursing quality, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) programmes.

Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies, clinical standards, and performance indicators

Ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies.

Analyse clinical quality data, adverse events, and audits, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Promote a culture of safety, excellence, and accountability across nursing services.

Collaborate closely with executive leadership, medical staff, and nursing leaders to improve outcomes.

Oversee preparation for accreditation surveys, inspections, and quality reviews.

Lead staff education, competency development, and professional practice standards related to quality

Support evidence based practice, research, and innovation in nursing care.

Provide expert advice on risk management, infection prevention, and patient experience initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Registered Nurse with a Bachelor s degree in Nursing (Master s in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Quality preferred)

At least seven (7) years' experience as a registered nurse in acute care hospital including four (4) years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, patient safety, and accreditation systems

Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex quality initiatives

Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
