Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Level 11 Liver Unit is dedicated to Liver Transplantation, Small Bowel Transplantation and Hepatobiliary patients and provides complex nursing care to medical and surgical adult patients. The Unit has designated specialized Health Educators, a Clinical Pharmacist, Physical Therapist, Patient Relation and Dietician as an additional resource to the team.
Each year, approximately 300 patients undergo evaluation for liver transplantation and up to 150 successful transplants take place at our center.
Management and care of patients with liver diseases
Cadaveric/Orthotropic liver transplantation
Living related / non related transplantation
Cancer of liver
Hepatocellular cancer
Cryptogenic liver cirrhosis
End stage liver diseases
Viral hepatitis B & C
Liver resection
Infusion of IVIG, Hepatitis B Immunoglobulin
Hepatic encephalopathy
Pre-liver transplant work-up
Healthy Liver donors
Whipple s Procedure
Management and care of patients with small bowel diseases
Short Bowel Syndrome
Crohn s Disease
Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical nursing experience following licensure/registration in the country of origin.
