Job Contents:

Design, procure, Maintain all types of SCADA equipment and Substation Control Systems. Ensuring proper preventive programs, compliance to Cyber Security requirements as outlined by APSR and ensure availability of SCADA systems for continuous operation of all grid stations and Control Centers.

Description:

• Carrying out regular maintenance of the Substation control System and RTU systems as defined in asset Class Strategy for SCADA Systems.
• Achieve SCADA System availability as defined in Asset Class Strategy for SCADA Systems.
• Providing Technical Support for new SCADA requirements.
• Coordination with various OEMs in technical issues related SCADA systems.
• Understanding and compliance to APSR Cyber Security requirements.
• Compliance and preparation of SOPs to meet business needs.
• Fully aware of Grid Code requirements and complying to it
• Responding to internal and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance to utility standards for Substation Automation best practices.
• Carrying out the commissioning of SCS/RTU systems.
• Verification of design documents for SCS systems from different vendors.
• Verification of functional description documents for SCS systems from different vendors.
• Coordinating with Projects, Consultants & EPC s for new substations commissioning and ensure system delivered in line with tender requirements.
• Review of FAT and SAT Documents and attending the tests at OEM Factories.
• Sharing skills and experience with colleagues and supporting the development of others through coaching where possible
