Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The SCADA Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling diesel power plant operations using ABB SCADA systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous power generation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control power plant operations through SCADA systems
- Handle control room operations and system supervision
- Monitor alarms, system performance, and equipment status
- Operate Wartsila or CAT MAK diesel generators
- Identify faults and perform basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for issue resolution
- Follow startup and shutdown procedures
- Maintain system logs and daily reports
- Ensure continuous and stable power generation
- Comply with safety and HSE standards
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- 68 years experience in diesel power plant operations
- Experience in ABB SCADA systems
- Knowledge of Wartsila or CAT MAK generators
- Experience in control room operations
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of safety procedures
