Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and lead scaffolding teams for erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.

  2. Ensure scaffolding is erected as per approved designs, method statements, and safety standards.

  3. Conduct pre-use inspections and ensure scaffolds are tagged (safe/unsafe) appropriately.

  4. Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and other foremen for scaffolding requirements.

  5. Ensure proper load-bearing capacity and stability of scaffolding systems.

  6. Monitor usage of scaffolding materials and prevent misuse or damage.

  7. Maintain records of inspections, permits, and scaffold handover certificates.

  8. Ensure compliance with HSE policies, local regulations, and international safety standards.

  9. Identify potential hazards and take corrective actions immediately.

  10. Train and guide scaffolders on safe working practices.

  11. Ensure proper storage, handling, and maintenance of scaffolding materials and tools.

  12. Report daily progress and site updates to management.
