Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Scaffolding Officer ensures scaffolding activities comply with site HSE and safety procedures, conducting inspections and enforcing safety standards for workers operating at height.

  • Inspect scaffolding platforms, access points, structural integrity & tagging system (Green/Yellow/Red)
  • Verify compliance with fall protection, PPE, barricades & safe access
  • Raise unsafe notifications and ensure immediate corrective actions
  • Participate in risk assessments, JSA & PTW for working-at-height activities
  • Maintain scaffolding registers, checklists & inspection records
  • Coordinate with Scaffolding Supervisor, Safety & Execution teams
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ARAMCO & international scaffolding standards
  • Conduct toolbox talks and working-at-height safety orientations

Desired Candidate Profile

Scaffolding Certification from recognised body (CITB / CISRS / OSHA / ARAMCO / TUV preferred)
4 8 years Oil & Gas scaffolding safety experience
