SCC Group Manager ALSTOM

Job Purpose:
The SSC PrEM (Project Engineering Manager) is responsible for managing the project engineering team who ensure that all projects delivered are technically fit for purpose and meet the requirements.
French speaker is preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Management and planning of:
• Configuration of ATS (Automatic Train supervision), SCADA & Cyber Security systems
• Integration of SW deliveries (developed on other Alstom sites)
• Support Test & Commissioning on-site activities
• System documents, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Apply the system engineering processes in order to ensure that the system technically fulfils the defined needs and enhancements (change requests) and that a proper system engineering approach is being followed.
• Interacts with other Engineers to ensure that the design fits with the intended functions and architecture.
• Follow-up with project managment team
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Engineering University Degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
Experience:
7-12 years of experience preferred in Engineering/ Engineering management

Knowledge, Skills & Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge
•
• Railway knowledge is preferred
• Automation systems specially SCADA products
• Standard and industrial protocols (OPC-UA, OPC-DA, MODBUS, SNMP, etc)
• Good knowledge in PLC or DCS & SCADA systems
Skills:
•
• Good verbal and written English and French communication skills
• Ability to work transversally with engineering teams
• Proactivity & flexibility to change between different knowledge sectors
• Willing to learn
