Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and animate the School Library / Resource Center ( CDI / BCD ).
Support students in developing information literacy, research skills, and a love of reading.
Collaborate with teachers to support interdisciplinary teaching projects.
Design and facilitate projects and activities that promote reading for pleasure, critical thinking, and student autonomy.
Curate and enhance the use of library resources in both French and English.
Contribute to the pedagogical and cultural life of the school.
Actively engage in documentary network activities at local, regional, national, and international levels, while contributing to the training and sharing of information literacy skills with our educational community.
Desired Candidate Profile
University degree or equivalent, ideally in Library Science, Information Science, Education, or Literature.
Training or certification in librarianship / resource center management is an asset.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a school, educational, or cultural environment.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a pedagogical context is highly desirable.
Experience in a bilingual or international school setting is appreciated.
French and English: fluent in both spoken and written forms.
