Westview International Language School is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Department (HOD) - Science Teacher to join our team. This leadership role requires a dynamic educator who can inspire both students and staff, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning across all science disciplines. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and management for the Science department, promoting excellence in teaching and student achievement. Develop, implement, and evaluate the science curriculum to ensure alignment with educational standards and school goals. Support and mentor science teachers, facilitating professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment. Monitor and analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions. Lead department meetings, contribute to school-wide planning, and participate in leadership initiatives. Promote innovative teaching practices and integrate new technologies and resources to enhance learning outcomes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all science laboratories and practical activities. Engage with parents, stakeholders, and external partners to support the department's objectives and student success.
