Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging science lessons in accordance with the school s curriculum and educational standards.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Assess and evaluate students academic progress through assignments, tests, and projects.

Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and hands-on experiments to enhance student understanding.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student development.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Provide guidance and support to students both academically and personally.

Ensure a safe and orderly classroom environment in compliance with school policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience teaching science at the elementary or secondary level.

Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and curriculum standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.

Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources.

Demonstrated classroom management skills.

Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
