Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical exercises.

  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Inspire students to appreciate and pursue higher education in scientific fields.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet varying needs and interests of students.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
  • Stay updated with the latest scientific discoveries and teaching methodologies.
  • Ensure all students are treated with respect and dignity, fostering an inclusive environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Science Education or related field is required.
  • Valid teaching certification or license for secondary education is mandatory.
  • Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of science subjects including biology, chemistry, and physics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Commitment to implementing innovative and effective teaching strategies.
