Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management: Lead the procurement team in sourcing materials, components, and services for solar projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure that suppliers meet the company's quality standards and delivery deadlines.
  • Logistics & Inventory Management: Oversee the transportation and warehousing of materials, ensuring that inventory levels are optimized to support the timely execution of projects.
  • Supply Chain Planning & Optimization: Work closely with project managers and other internal teams to forecast supply needs and optimize the supply chain. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, transportation disruptions, or vendor issues that could impact project timelines or costs.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (project management, engineering, procurement, etc.) and external stakeholders (suppliers, transporters, and contractors) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all SCM activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and local regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
