Roles & Responsibilities
Scrum Master (Agile Facilitator)
A Scrum Master is a servant leader and coach who ensures the Scrum team understands and applies Scrum theory, practices, and rules. They facilitate key meetings (ceremonies), remove impediments to progress, and protect the team from distractions, fostering an environment for high-productivity and self-management
This role focuses on servant leadership, removing impediments, and ensuring the Scrum team adheres to Agile principles to maximize productivity.
o Facilitate Events: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
o Remove Blockers: Proactively identify and eliminate impediments (e.g., technical blockers, resource dependencies) stalling team progress.
o Coach the Team: Guide the team on self-organization, cross-functionality, and Scrum best practices.
o Stakeholder Management: Protect the development team from external distractions and act as a bridge between the team and stakeholders.
Solution Designer (Technical Architect)
This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, designing detailed solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
A Solution Designer (or Solution Architect) translates business requirements into secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions, acting as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams. Key responsibilities include creating technical blueprints, conducting risk assessments, guiding implementation, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
· Design & Architecture: Develop detailed high-level and low-level design specifications, including system context diagrams and data models.
· Requirement Analysis: Analyze Process Definition Documents (PDD) and business requirements to translate them into technical solutions.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with developers, testers, and business leaders to align technology solutions with business goals.
· Technical Guidance: Oversee implementation, provide mentoring to developers, and support UAT/SIT processes.
· Risk & Evaluation: Identify technical risks, evaluate new technologies, and ensure compliance with security/license policies.
· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for technical guidelines and project milestones.
· System Design, Technical Documentation, System Integration
· UML Design Solutions: Create detailed technical design documents (SDD), diagrams, and workflows for software solutions.
· Bridge Business & Tech: Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements for development teams.
· Integration Planning: Ensure new solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure.
· Review & Quality: Participate in peer reviews and design authorities to maintain the integrity of the solution.

What a Scrum Master Is NOT: · A Project Manager: They do not manage the project scope, budget, or schedule, nor do they assign tasks to team members. · A Boss/Manager: They are not the team's supervisor, but rather a coach who helps the team improve its own processes Key Focus Areas: · Continuous Improvement: Driving the team to become more efficient through retrospectives. · Organizational Adoption: Helping the broader organization understand and adopt Scrum principles
Solution Designer ( Technical Architect ) :
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. · Experience: Generally 5+ years in solution design, software development, or a similar role. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot (or similar), RESTful APIs, data modeling, and cloud-native design (e.g., containers, AWS/Azure). · Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. · Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with Automation tools (e.g., Blue Prism) or enterprise-level integration tools.
