Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for developers (site structure, indexing, Core Web Vitals, schemas, redirects, robots.txt, XML sitemaps).
  • Use AI SEO tools to analyze and optimize pages for search intent, content quality, and competitive gaps.
  • Improve on-page performance using UX/CRO insights to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Monitor website performance using tools like Search Console, GA4,, and AI analytics dashboards.
  • Identify, track, and optimize for core and emerging keywords, including semantic and AI-search terms.
  • Create and optimize content briefs, landing pages, metadata, and internal linking strategies.
  • Use AI tools to generate content outlines, topic clusters, content gap analysis, and predictive ranking insights.
  • Perform UAT checks, support web migrations, ensure proper canonicalization, fix broken links, and address indexation issues.
  • Collaborate with content, product, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices across all channels.
  • Provide regular performance reports, competitor intelligence, and optimization roadmaps.
  • Apply a problem-solving mindset, manage tasks independently, and maintain strong attention to detail.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong understanding of how search engines and AI-search systems work (Google, SGE, Bing AI, Perplexity, etc.).
  • 2+ years experience in an SEO or growth-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Search Console, GA4).
  • Proven ability to perform keyword research, technical audits, content optimization, and competitor analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity.
  • Experience using AI SEO tools (e.g., Surfer AI, Clearscope, Jasper SEO, ChatGPT-SEO workflows).
  • Ability to analyze AI-search result pages (AIPAs) and optimize for SGE/AI-generated answers.
  • Familiarity with entity-based SEO, semantic search, and knowledge graph optimization.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for SEO troubleshooting.
  • Experience with content syndication, backlink quality review, and link-building strategy.
  • Ability to create dashboards (Sheets/Excel) and present insights clearly.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to propose innovative SEO approaches.
