Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured Art lessons aligned with the school s curriculum for Secondary students

  • Support students in developing technical skills across a range of artistic mediums

  • Encourage critical thinking and creative problem-solving through project-based learning

  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

  • Contribute to the planning and development of the Art curriculum

  • Organize and support art exhibitions, showcases, and related school events

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that values creativity, individual expression, and collaboration

  • Work closely with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and whole-school activities

Desired Candidate Profile

B.Ed with a Major in Art OR

  • B.Ed in another subject with a minimum of 2 years experience teaching Art at Secondary level OR

  • BA + PGCE (QTS)

Experience teaching in an international or multicultural school setting

  • Familiarity with inquiry-based or student-centered learning approaches

  • Experience supporting extracurricular art activities, clubs, or competitions

A passion for teaching Art and inspiring creativity in young people

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive student relationships

  • A commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a vibrant school community
