Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

About the Teacher

Teachers in this setting are expected to deliver consistently high-quality, inquiry-driven teaching that supports internationally benchmarked programmes such as IB and STEM-focused pathways, while tailoring learning to a highly diverse, multicultural student body. They are required to collaborate closely within a shared, cross-campus model, contributing to curriculum development, assessment moderation, and whole-school initiatives across multiple affiliated schools. A strong commitment to academic excellence, data-informed practice, and student well-being is essential, along with the ability to use innovative approaches and make effective use of advanced facilities and digital learning tools. Teachers are also expected to contribute to the wider educational ethos by supporting enrichment activities, co-curricular programmes, and university-style learning experiences that prepare students for entry to leading global universities.

About the Job

Digital Societies is a modern interdisciplinary subject that explores how technology influences people, culture, communication, and everyday life. It focuses on understanding the impact of digital tools such as social media, artificial intelligence, and data systems on society, including issues like online behaviour, privacy, digital citizenship, misinformation, and inequality. Rather than being a technical IT course, it is discussion-based and analytical, encouraging students to think critically about how the digital world is shaping identity, relationships, work, and the future.
