Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A Secondary English / Research Teacher is responsible for teaching English and research-related subjects to junior or senior high school students in accordance with the Philippine K 12 curriculum and the educational standards of Qatar s Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The teacher develops students communication, literary appreciation, critical thinking, academic writing, and research skills in a learner-centered and multicultural environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Applicants typically need:

  • Bachelor s degree in Secondary Education major in English, English Language Studies, Communication, Literature, or related field
  • Valid PRC Professional Teacher License
  • Preferably with teaching experience in secondary education
  • Strong background in academic writing and research instruction
  • Excellent English communication and classroom management skills
  • Full-fledged Master s Degree holder in Education
  • At least two (2) years of experience as a classroom teacher
  • With a valid PRC teaching license
  • 45 years old and below
  • With less than 40 hours of absences
