Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Bachelor s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in French, or a related subject
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience teaching the IB MYP/DP is desirable but not essential
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Passionate about languages and intercultural understanding
- A strong understanding of current pedagogy and student-centered learning
- Ability to create engaging, inclusive, and innovative classroom experiences
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to continuous professional growth
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the IB curriculum, fostering language proficiency and cultural appreciation.
- Use innovative teaching methods, technology, and authentic contexts to develop communication and global awareness.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, using data to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to create interdisciplinary projects and meaningful learning experiences.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, language clubs, and cultural events to enrich student learning.
- Engage in professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
