Arcadia Global School, Dubai is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Secondary History Teacher who can join us from August 2026. The successful candidate will be working alongside other experienced team members to promote the strategic vision of the school and will be capable of teaching across all secondary Key Stages up to A Level.

Requirements:
Fully qualified teacher holding BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience working within a high-quality department.
The ability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE with a proven track record in performance outcomes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be confident in delivering and contributing to the curriculum.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Outstanding practitioners with the ability to deliver innovative lessons built on current pedagogical thinking and forward-thing initiatives.
A professional who works collaboratively both within the immediate team and across the wider school community.
Core Responsibilities
To teach using a variety of delivery methods which will stimulate learning, meeting the demands of the curriculum and through scaffolding and objectives ensure that the needs of all students are met.
To maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s policies and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour and standards of work.
To contribute to the development and implementation of the subject’s strategic action plan.
To ensure effective monitoring and communication with parents regarding academic progress both in line with school reporting procedures and in response to specific concerns as they arise.
To comply with the current policies and procedures of the school.
To prepare and update subject materials, including schemes or work.
