Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Humanities lessons (History/Geography) following the British Curriculum.

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and analytical thinking.

  • Plan and implement creative lessons that support students understanding of global and historical concepts.

  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress with clarity and purpose.

  • Provide meaningful feedback to support academic growth.

  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

  • Participate in curriculum development, assessment planning, and wider school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Humanities or a related field.

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS).

  • Proven experience teaching within the British or IB Curriculum (essential).

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing students understanding of the world.

  • Previous international experience is an advantage.
