For a private international school in Bahrain offering a British-style curriculum from early years to secondary level. It has a diverse, multicultural student body and focuses on combining strong academics with personal development, creativity, and extracurricular activities. The school provides a supportive learning environment that encourages global citizenship, confidence, and prepares students for international qualifications and future study pathways.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Evidence of up to date knowledge of teaching iGCSE & AS/A Level / Cambridge curriculum
- Understanding of the significance of the school ethos
- Understanding of the requirements of good classroom management
- Commitment to curriculum continuity between the phases
- Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning
- Meticulous record keeping of student records and intervention strategies
- Able to provide a practical commitment to an equal opportunities policy of inclusivity
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team
- At least two year s teaching experience in the specified subject / less will be considered on a case by case basis
- Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements
- Evidence of good personal relationships/ team player
- Evidence of experience of working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour
- Qualified teacher with a Bachelor degree in Business and Education
- Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country in which you obtained the degree
- Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development(CPD) activities as a participant
- Applicant s compliance to supporting and upholding the school s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy
- A Criminal Record Disclosure will be required prior to appointment.
- Excellent and unequivocal references
- Good attendance and health record
