Roles & Responsibilities
For August 2026 we are seeking a passionate Secondary Librarian to join our team. The role of the Secondary Librarian is to promote a love of reading and learning across the secondary phase, ensuring that the future Learning Hub is a welcoming, engaging, and well-organised space.
The successful candidate must have the following:
- A B.Ed or BA degree in Library Science
- Proven track record in fostering a caring and supportive atmosphere.
- Be a passionate educator dedicated to the well-being, social and academic progress of each student.
- Experience which will make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualified teacher with a minimum of two years teaching experience
Proficient ICT user
Awareness of innovative thinking and practice in education
An in-depth and up to date knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
A strong personal presence and high level interpersonal skills
Excellent understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and practices
