Desired Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a qualified Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Media Teacher with appropriate teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed. and/or PGCE)
  • For this specific role, are looking for someone with confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results, teaching English and Media to GCSE and A Level using the Edexcel and AQA specifications
  • Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices
  • Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, understanding the balance between academic and social progress and support, as well as the ability to identify safeguarding concerns.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development.
  • Be available to join Jebel Ali School in August 2026
