SECONDARY TEACHER NEEDED IN QATAR - AUGUST 2026

YEAR 7 ENGLISH TEACHER - FEMALE ONLY

This is a well-established, girls-only international school that blends a British curriculum with strong Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Qatari cultural foundations. Established in 1996, the school serves students from early years through secondary education and offers recognised pathways including Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level qualifications within a bilingual English and Arabic environment. This is mainly a local and Arab expatriate entity, not your typical western expatriate one, and there is a strong Islamic ethos that drives the mission and values of the school.

Teacher Requirements

Ability to teach relevant key stages and examination pathways (e.g., KS3, KS4, IGCSE, AS Level where applicable)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Commitment to student wellbeing, academic progress, and wider school life

Ability to work within a values-based, multicultural school environment with strong Arabic and Islamic foundations

Experience with assessment, planning, and differentiated instruction preferred

Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community
