Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct instructional support to students in small groups or one-on-one settings, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and subject-specific interventions aligned with grade-level standards.

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and learning support teams to identify students in need of intervention and develop personalized learning plans.
  • Use data-driven methods to assess student progress, adjust instructional strategies, and document outcomes to ensure measurable academic improvement.
  • Design and implement engaging, scaffolded lessons that build essential skills while promoting student independence and academic resilience.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers to provide updates, gather insights, and promote shared strategies for student success.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a school-wide culture of continuous improvement and inclusive education.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in education, or a related field; credentials or certification in special education or learning support are preferred.
  • Experience working in middle and/or high school settings in intervention, learning support, or student services roles.
  • Strong understanding of differentiation, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
