Roles & Responsibilities

School Description:

A leading British International School in Kuwait is seeking a committed Secondary Science Teacher to join its team from August 2026. The school delivers the British curriculum and fosters a culture of academic achievement within a supportive international community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science across relevant secondary key stages

  • Prepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations

  • Plan, assess, and deliver lessons aligned with the British curriculum

  • Monitor and evaluate student performance

  • Contribute to departmental and whole-school development

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor s degree issued from the UK

  • UK PGCE & QTS (essential candidates without these cannot be considered)

  • Experience teaching Science within the British curriculum

  • Strong subject knowledge and organisational skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
