Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The secondary school is looking for a positive, driven, and inspirational Science teacher to join a very successful and vibrant department. Science is taught as a Core Subject for Grades 6 to 8 to all students incorporating Biology, chemistry and Physics topics. Head of science will lead the Science department in alignment with the UAE, IBO and BSO Inspection Frameworks.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in science or a related subject.
Post Graduate Certificate in Education (or equivalent)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning
Be highly proficient in the use of technology to support teaching and learning
Engage, motivate and support students
Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate
Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff and have a growth mindset
Be willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities
Have excellent communications skills
Experience of teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply)
