Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the overall leadership and management of the Secondary School.

  • Support the development and implementation of the school s educational strategy and curriculum.

  • Oversee academic performance and student behavior, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.

  • Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive school culture that supports the emotional, social, and academic development of students.

  • Collaborate with the Principal and senior leadership team to implement school policies and initiatives.

  • Participate in the recruitment, induction, and performance evaluation of teachers.

  • Liaise with parents and the wider school community, maintaining effective communication.

  • Ensure the efficient administration of the secondary school, including scheduling, reporting, and assessments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Education, School Leadership, or relevant field (Master s Degree preferred).

  • Valid teaching certification (preferably in the American Curriculum).

  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within a secondary school.

  • Experience in implementing American Curriculum standards and educational practices.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).

  • A passion for supporting student achievement and teacher development.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
