Roles & Responsibilities
A leading tertiary center in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Section Head Cardiothoracic Critical Care to lead and develop specialized ICU services for post-cardiac and thoracic surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Cardiothoracic Critical Care section, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Manage complex post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.
- Develop evidence-based ICU protocols and pathways.
- Supervise critical care teams and coordinate multidisciplinary services.
- Contribute to service expansion, research, and academic programs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Critical Care, Cardiology, or Cardiothoracic Anesthesia.
- Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
- Extensive Consultant/Staff Physician-level experience in cardiothoracic ICU.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- DOH license or eligibility.
