Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced On-Site Security Engineer with strong expertise in API gateway security, network security technologies, and SIEM integration. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in securing enterprise API infrastructure, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage API Gateway security solutions using platforms such as F5, Kong, and IBM DataPower
• Configure and maintain IDS/IPS systems to detect and prevent security threats
  
• Integrate security tools and infrastructure with SIEM platforms for real-time monitoring and incident response
  
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis
  
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to ensure secure system design
  
• Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis across API and network layers
  
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security frameworks
  
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and security audit artifacts
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and network security
  
• Strong expertise in:
  • API Gateway Security (F5, Kong, IBM DataPower)
    
  • IDS/IPS technologies
    
  • SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)
    
• Experience with security integration and log management
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and secure architectures
• Hands-on experience in incident response and threat analysis

Certifications (Mandatory)

• One or more of the following:
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    
  • GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
    
  • Or equivalent recognized cybersecurity certification
    

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise or government environments
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus
