Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of robust security protocols to safeguard sensitive data against cyber threats.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify weaknesses in the organization’s security posture.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Coordinate incident response efforts, including threat detection, analysis, and recovery planning to mitigate damage from breaches.
- Oversee the security awareness training programs for employees to cultivate a culture of security consciousness across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures within existing infrastructure and application development processes.
- Monitor security systems and analyze security breaches to inform future strategies and improve defenses.
- Manage relationships with external cybersecurity vendors and service providers to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Prepare and present security reports and metrics to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key risks and improvement areas.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure proactive adjustments to security strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity management or a related field, with a strong focus on risk management.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are essential to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills.
- Experience in compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Proven track record of leading incident response and recovery efforts effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
